| Site maybe temporarily Offline! |
Morning all I wanted to let you guys know that the site maybe offline for a week or two. I'm not sure yet.
Yesterday morning my Aunt Nancy passed away, she had no insurance of any kind so, we as a family have to pull our resources together and help pay for everything. That means the $200+ I set aside for paying for this site has to be sacraficed this month, payment was due today. I have already contacted my host to see if they would allow an extention but I'm not sure if they can or will at such short notice. But they might I'm still waiting on a reply. If they don't then they will suspend us, and if nothing else tragic or dramamtic happens it will only be for a week.
Don't mean to upset or bring anyone down, but we want to give our Aunt a nice funeral and it's expensive, why are funeral sooo expensive anyways? So I'm pulling change from every place I can, if I had had warning I would have borrowed from my 401k but as I said it was unexpected and we had no Idea she had no insurance, because she 'seemed' to be living a very comfortable life.
Anyway, I just wanted you guys to know what was what so if you come here and find that the site has been suspended, you'll know why.

| Wolvie & the X-Men Season 2 |
On April 13, 2010, Comics Continuum reported that according to an inside source a second season of the series seems very unlikely. On April 15, 2010, Marvel Animation Age confirmed the recent report that Wolverine and the X-Men will not be returning for a second season. At C2E2, the Marvel animation panel consisting of Joe Quesada, Arune Singh, and Josh Fine stated that the reason for the cancellation is because they were unable to work out the financing for the show with their financing partner.
Two petitions have been made for the show's return, one of which is on PetitionSpot, and are currently being signed by over a 500 or more fans already. A third petition was also added on PetitionsOnline.com on April 17, 2010 proposing to save the show also.

| UPGRADING!! |
Ok so I had to upgrade the site to version 2 of eFiction. Now I shall explain why.
The original/old version which I loved and will miss because I modded the hell out it and am not looking forward to having to do it all again with this newer version, but I digress...the old version had to be ran with Register_globals 'on, I'm not sure if any of you know what I'm talking about.
In essences running your websites/servers with the register_globals on is a huge security risk and if you're on a hosted site they would never allow you to do it...this is a hackers dream.
To be honest I really wasn't too concerned, and would have happily ran the site with register_globals on, however, I have recently been informed that the newer version of php, which has to be enabled on my server in order to run the site at all, the newer version 'requires' that register_globals be turned 'off', no if, ands, or buts about it.
So upgrading was necessary otherwise in a couple of months we would have had no site, site would have gone bye, bye.
I know most of us don't like change, as I said I will miss the older version, but please know that this version has some neat stuff too, and what it doesn't have I will try my darnest to mod it in. As always if you see any bugs let me know and I'll grab the Raid and get to work ;)
For those who have a problem reading with the white background, you can click on the text in the story area, and the background will darken for you. I will try to mod over our old skins sometime tomorrow.
