Nice ending but damn...Eve was out her mind crazy! Oh well...I'll hope for the happy ending for Evangeline and John!

I loved this.It was very intense.Eve was a whack job.Poor John.I loved that last line."Our story is far from over."So true so so true.Can't wait for that epilogue.

OMG!! Eve tried to kill her? What a crazy bitch!! Someone kill her. And let me guess, Evangeline isn't going to tell John. John has to know. His mom could harm his wife and his child. She's got this sick attachment to John. Yuck! John and Evangeline are getting to a good place. I'd move too, but first resolved this crap with the mother.

That old bat is nuts! IA with Michael ...Eve is either in love with John or has some sick tie to him in her mind b/c she is determine to get rid of Evangeline. She is a sick sick woman and I want Evangeline to not only tell John what happened but John and Evangeline to go off on her one good time so she'll know not to mess with either of them again. I can't get over how far she went this time and Evangeline is too nice b/c that heffa would have caught a beat down pg or not!

On a good note....John was being very sweet with the no sex thing but Johnny....Evangeline is pg...she needs to get her's hell or high water so enjoy the ride boy...lol. Thanks for the update!

WOW! One has to slowly inhale and brace one’s mind before reading your long awaited update, for it’s truly an amazing experience to behold. Absolutely enjoyed “watching” them from the time he truthfully commented on her “asset” to his reluctant departure from their bed. The dialogue and descriptive content was fabulously written. My favorite scene was their scrabble game; you’ve convincingly captured the expressions of playful banter, love, desire and friendship which were once portrayed on screen by ME and REG. Even though Eve is the wicked witch from H.E.L.L., your expertise in writing her true to character never wavered.

Now let’s get real…running to John about his maniacal mother’s actions is not who Angie is. He still remains unaware that the woman who spawned him ambushed his wife at Rhodi’s and though she would’ve been justified in offering such damning information, Evangeline has more class than that. However, the inevitable strangulation marks/bruising around her neck must be truthfully explained when questioned by her ex FBI agent now police detective husband. Isn’t that right Kathy? Hmmmm, I can’t hear you! *smirking*

You know this story is one on my favorite stories but alas, all good things must come to an end. Or does it? Sequel perhaps? *wink, wink*

Update so- in the near future.

Great chapter! After all the turmoil Evangeline/John have experienced, Evangeline wouldn't keep Eve's attack on her life a secret from John. She must tell John so that he can finally sever his ties with his demented mother. Maybe John will realize what Michael said is true, Eve is in love with John!! She only wants John with women that she can control. Evangeline is not that woman. After having already lost one child, John has to be told how psychotic his mother really is!

I think it's sweet that John is planning to abstain from sex as a way to prove he truly loves Evangeline. However, a pregnant woman's hormones are off the chain. He can't deny Evangeline her needs because of his guilty conscience. I was hoping that John or Antonio would walk in while Eve was assaulting Evangeline. Eve gave no consideration to the fact that she could also be killing her unborn grandchild, or maybe that was the point. Eve knows that nobody can compete with a parent's love for their child. Please allow Evangeline the opportunity for a "verbal beatdown" of Eve, but in John's presence. The only thing better would be for John to give his mother a verbal beatdown in Evangeline's presence. There is nothing ilke JoVan love!!
