PUHHLLLEEEZZZEEEE don't take forever and a day to update this story. I could've scratched that woman's eyes out for outbidding Van. Not to mention showing up the way she did. And bearing news that he possibly fathered a child whom he had no knowledge of and certainly not that he'd remembered the deed anyway. (If he was impotent, or in his case drunk and couldn't perform, what are the odds that he's the father?) I'm soooo glad Van heard their conversation. At least she KNOWS that John wants her for her, not her money. Cricket and John hadn't spoken since he left CA, therefore, she had no knowledge of Van's wealth. The words spoken between them was all the proof Van needs that the man loves her and only her.
So again I ask you, please update soon; I can't wait to see what happens next.

I have had just about enough of this...HIgh School back and forth convo....You are enjoying torturing us or What?
You have seccussfully made me hate J & E in this story and right now i am wishing that i didn't luv reading it so much.
I have got a world class headache with all twisted underliner of want you and i dont want..i hate you and i dont hate you..i love you and I dont love you..man now i feel as sick as Johnny Mac.
Curse you for getting me hooked on this story so much that i am willing to sit here and suffer through the pains of my headache and my stomache to read this story because I have to see it through to the end and what the out come maybe for loving each other.
I think in order to get this bad taste out of my mouth that you have left me with i will go re-read my favorite story Blast from the Past.

Did Van have some tiype of medical traiining too? The way she 'examined' him and questioned his symptoms, one would think that she'd either went to school, worked as an assistant or had experience taking care of people - possibly her brother - or its just plain ole logical deduction. Anyhoo, she loves being a smartass doesn't she? If John doesn't want to know what this man is to her, I sure as hell do. Hopefully he's a friend without privileges. Thanks for the update.

Secondly come on I know John must suffer for his crimes but Dayum can you give my boy a mall break. At least let us see how she is thristing too. You are toruring the mess out of my boy and it doesn't look like he has any hope in the freakin world come is too much to ask to give me just a glimmer of hope that he may actually survive this in the end. Oh this is torture b/c I wish both of them would just drop the meaness and get on with the dirty of their past. Very good story, although I don't think I like this version of John and Evangeline. John as a gigolo, just the thought makes me shudder. And to top it all off, he still needs therapy! LOL. And it's painful to see Vangie as a bitter, vengeful woman. But I can't wait until you finish it!
