I'm really enjoying this story. I love the chemistry between these two; even though they're harsh with one another because of hurt pride and guilt, the inevitable is destined to happen. Can't wait to see John's reaction now that her ruse has been revealed. Will he be a man by paying his bill and return to his home or will he cad by playing her which will only solidify her disdain for him? (I vote for MAN, or at least something in between)

i see queen b is back and she gave a long ass chapter. well i savoured it and re read it again i loved the fierce intensity between them its such a sexual charge i just know when you write their love scene after so long its going to be hotter than all your other love scenes i say that everytime and its teh truth you always make their love scens top class. now to this line tell me what you think i would think if she really did this?

welcome back your bitchyness, i mean your fantastic, most incredible bitchyness. i thought you gave up on my story.but i see BCG beat me to the threatening email. good.
now as i was saying this chapter was great and quick wit , i could feel the intensity between those two, i felt as part of the story.what is hank to evangeline really?i am glad johns back and she is still obviously in love with him, but you haven't given john anything worthwhile, no job, and he has no family you make him sound like a male ho for hire . if he has to stand a chance to fight for evangeline then give him a proper life.
i don't think that she is bitter she is still hurt by what john did, its that simple and to her its unfinished business she wants finished but i know once they hook up they ain't going to break up, hank going to hit the road like jack and he better not come back.
i don't believe its just sex evangeline wants from john, but so far from what i gather she wants payback and she wants to hurt him in the same way he hurt her, so she will sleep with him and then leave the same night or morning i guess telling him it wasn't that good and whatever else to wound a man's pride.

One must really take their time to fully grasp this story; at least this one does. Nevertheless, here’s my thought thus far. Van can hurl all the nasty insults, snide remarks and sexual innuendo all she wants but the truth of the matter is she still loves him. Taking pleasure in knocking a man while he’s down just because he hurt you only makes a woman bitter which John so perceptively stated. Don’t get me wrong, what he did to her was cruel; she didn’t deserve his deception and selfishness. But what happens when the taunting no longer satisfies the woman scorned? Or continuing to placate her heart with someone who’s not him? What happens when they finally give into that carnal desire to have one another and John rocks her world by making love to her? Ha! What then? Even though I take no pleasure in ‘watching’ them tear each other apart, I’m enjoying the dialogue and quick wit between the two. Hopefully, love will conquer pride for these stubborn ass soul mates.
