You delivered on this one Dawn! I couldn’t tear my eyes away; the action was awesome!! Wonder Woman ain’t got nothing on Evangeline McBain! I could see the whole scene: Falcon taunting and chasing them, her and Michael running down the stairs, Falcon realizing it was Michael and not John, Michael shooting at Falcon, Falcon dodging bullets, the evil nurse…the whole nine gurl. Fantastic!!
The Senator was a surprise, didn’t see that one coming though I loved the angle just the same. I can’t wait to see who the Senator’s elite assassins are. I like Jamal, always did. He’s one of the good guys who aren’t soft around the edges. I can’t see how Bo left without confirming Evangeline and John’s whereabouts and I still cannot believe John left Van virtually unprotected. What’s police protection? Hmpf He should’ve at least enlisted my man Dusty’s help, he’s (Dusty) more of an adversary against Falcon than Michael.
Things look bleak at the moment, especially with Falcon hot on their tales but I’m ready for round two. This chapter had only 4600 words but damn if it wasn’t worth every syllable, every moment, even the wait between installments. Please, please update soon.

Of course you would post when my computer is acting a fool! Nevertheless, where there's a will there's a way. I read this while working late today. It was great, awesome, fantastic! You know me, I have so many questions...one being why the HELL did John leave Evangeline?!!!! That seemed so not like him. KNOWING this fool was out to get his wife. That makes no sense to me darn it!
The ending scene was fabulous; I loved the suspense. Falcon is about to work a nerve girl!! He looked so sinister coming off that elevator. Did he kill all those people? (i'll hit you up with my other questions hehehe)
I enjoyed everything....Asa/Ho Bag/Starr, Sam/Donovan, Uraina/Nadia, and last but certainly not least, all of the Jovan moments - especially the two of them in bed discussing their 'normal' life.
I'm stoked about the next chapter. Please don't take so long this time to update (if at all possible). PEACE.

Van’s dedication and protectiveness for her husband is very touching. John had the same determination for her when she was missing; one has to admire a love like theirs. John's tidbit about his past employment makes me wonder who he really is. I mean, why would someone hire less than the best to steal documents/plans for deadly weapons?
Gia was so nervous but what girl wouldn't be when you're meeting the mother of the man you're screwing? That’s crass, lets say dating. Better? lol I like Reva, she's a cool chick. I'd forgotten her connection to Van.
Wow, didn't see the murder of one Carlo Hesser coming at all. Wonder who had him killed. Nadia will freak with she learns of dear ole dad's demise.
This is all so very intriguing, especially with the new developments. I can’t we to see how it all plays out. Thanks for updating. I just have one more thing to say…..

I guess I was wrong about Dylan, he seems like a cool dude. He and Gia are a nice couple. Dusty and Mari's backstory was good. Dusty was smooth as silk wasn't he? lol Asa's gonna always be Asa, gotta love him.
Nadia and Uraina's relationship is interesting to read. I like Uraina, she's a cool ass chick - she's got her daughter's number.
The McBain family moments were awesome. John with Thomas and Michael, and then watching Van hold her baby girl was very touching. Loved what Eve said about being there for her "children" which includes Van. Danger always seem to follow J&E, damn. I hope they can conquer their enemies...seen and unseen.
Speaking of enemies, did John see Falcon's face during the melee? I think he did, I can't remember. I was wondering if John's "doctor" really Falcon. *glares* lol
What a nice surprise Dawn, you never disappoint.

There's one thing I'm confused with: how long or how many hours/days/weeks has it been from the time of Van's abduction to her rescue?
Author's Response: Everything moved pretty fast and some days lasted for several chapters. She was held for 6 days before being rescued by John and Dusty.

This chapter was non-stop action! Adrian was crazy as hell. Poor Mari...she put up a good fight though. Jamal was right, that cop shouldn't have frozen like that or someone could get dead. Falcon! I know I'm not supposed to like the bad guy but I do. He's cooler than a fan. Maybe he'll be Van's unseen guardian angel. Dusty and John weren't slow leaks either. Van reminds me of Thandie Newton in MI:2; both are great in action scenes. This is my kinda story!
Side note: I'm so sorry for your loss Dawn, my thoughts are with you.
