“I can’t let you leave here with her; I won’t”. He looked at Evangeline and she mouthed the words “I trust you”. He saw Enzo’s finger move and he fired.
Now that's love; she trusts her husband with her life. I'm also digging how you're staying true to both characters. She wanted to 'launch' into his arms but they had to take care of bizness first...she's not the typical damsel in distress. Please say John just has a flesh wound, he's still got things to do.
Talk about non-stop action! Man, this was action and then some. I knew you couldn't let Falcon go out like a sucka but Dusty has proven to be a worthy opponent. The whole scene with Jamal, Barbara, etc, was textbook cop story - too cool. Not to mention Bo chastising Dusty in the middle of a gunfight. Then we have Uraina possibly bargaining Asa's life for her daughter's - like a loving mother would (haha)
Lastly, I know this is an ugly thing to say but oh well: I so hope Adrian catches up with Nadia. That's all I gotta say about that! Yep, this chapter read like a movie too! Odyssey's up next during intermission, I've got my ticket for that show as well. . .

“You heard the lady. Let her go”.
Enzo found himself looking down the barrel of a gun. Evangeline found herself looking into the eyes of her husband.
Dang, dang, diggity dang it!!!! LOL That's what i'm talking 'bout...my man's to the rescue! Get 'em John!!! Is he not cool or what? The entire chapter was action-packed entertainment. I felt like I was watching a movie. Especially when Barbara approached Franklin, that whole scene had the feel of Law & Order (the special crime version, its more hip).
But tell me something Dawn, how strong do you think I am? I mean, you pull me off this cliff for a few exciting moments only to shove my butt back over again?! Urgh, where's my Gingseng? LOL

Got Dayum! If Van wasn't weak and hurt, she'd kick Nadia's ass. oooooo I hate that witch. WHERE THE HELL IS JOHN!!!!! I was so hoping that John would be behind some crate and come up behind Van. But the fight was great! And Falcon, he's just too damn smart. Is there someone smarter than he?
