Asa's deteriorating but he's not stupid, enlightening Bo would surely prompt more questions into the McBains' past and undoubtedly jeopardize his son's career even further. I hope Barbara's smarter than Franklin gives her credit for.
Dusty joining forces with John...? Never saw it coming but I must say I like it; I think they'll prove to be formidable and clever assets to one another.
You go Shera! I must say though that Falcon ain't no joke. Which puzzles me; how did he get involved with Hesser and/or Nadia? And why would he take orders from that witch? He seems too smart for that even if he is a bad guy.

I like Gia and Dylan seems like a cool dude...jury's still out about him though. Oh Asa, it doesn't look good for you homie. Winston should tell that witch to bite him. lol I knew it! I knew Adrian was going to get Mari, it was just a matter of when. Man o man I hope the brothers McBain know what they're doing. Last but not least, Van! Loved that she escaped if only for a moment. And even though Falcon's arrogance could've caused his embarrassment, he's got to admire her intelligence and determination. . . or maybe she just pissed him off further making a bad situation worse. I certainly hope not.

Mari should have known better. Roxy getting into people's business..lol..Asa has got to start catching on. I so want Nadia to get hers, whether it be Asa, John, Adrian..whomever..I like the closeness between Gia and Dylan. Our girl is fiesty and can take care of herself. Love how she escaped, but I didn't think it'd be that easy. I'm hoping Remy can help John.

Three in a row and counting! I'm enjoying this 'movie' immensely. Loving the brothers McBain and the fact that Michael's there for John through thick and thin. Also, John remembering when he fell in love was bittersweet, effectively adding depth to that moment.
I'm afraid for Mari...go after your woman Dusty damn! lol I hope Star's gonna be okay. Remy continues to be an extra that just sticks with ya (at least for me he does) Falcon: although he's holding Van captive, I can appreciate how the character is written. For some reason, I think his cold heart may not be completely frozen.
Lastly, I hope that bitch Nadia and her bitchass pappy gets theirs by any means necessary!

To answer your question about authors, I have heard of James Patterson and I did read one of his books years ago, I believe it was called Jack and Jill, it was an excellent book and he is an extremely talented writer. I hope to be that good one day!

Wow! Another great chapter and you don't miss a beat do ya? I'd forgotten about Adrian's psycho butt. And when reading the last chapter, I wondered how John would react to Lisa or what he would say. I like that you keep pieces/plots to the storyline together; I'm a stickler for miniscule details.
Are you a fan of Ed McBain and/or James Patterson? This story reminds me of their work.

What an excellent chapter! Those watched scenes with John; they were so real. And when he viewed that body. . .I almost lost it like he did.
The scenes with Asa were believable as well. I watch shows like 48 Hours, Cold Case Files, Forensic Files, etc., so to have the doctor tell Asa that his labs were normal was very on point.

Even though John's lying to her, I love their relationship: not too mushy yet they adore one another. You've captured them relating as normal folk. I appreciate that Van's strong however her husband knows her weakness and he's the rock she can lean on.
