Well alright Zoe, Zane and Layla! They fought off the Vasuman! If the portal hadn't opened when it did, I fear that all would've been lost. Never-the-less, I applaud their bravery. Zandul needs to quit; I'm sure he's spawned many-a half-breads himself. He's using their age-old war as a cover for his misdeeds. That's probably why he fears Sael's offspring b/c he knows Mainak and Enexhi would kick is brood's ass(es)! LOL Or better yet, dethrone his butt.
That's the coolest proposal to date!

I'm getting kinda antsy about this showdown in Kelfar; the tone in this chapter seems very ominous, especially regarding Evangeline's involvement. I'm intrigued by two things: the House of Ewan and Corbin's weapons. What does it all mean?
Its somewhat surprising but i like Mainak, Azim and Enexhi; they have a certain quality about them and I hope they're victorious in this battle of all battles. Patrick Morgan seems to be a man among men, as well as his sons - I'm rooting for their reunion. I had forgotten that Sonny had feelings for Ishara. For some odd reason that i've yet to understand, I'm not feeling Ishara and Jason. Why's that? They seem perfect for one another. *shrugs*
Loved the last scene, thanks for another fab chapter.

Another interesting chapter - which is of no surprise because every update thus far contains unforeseen twists to the story. I'm glad Azim and Mainak is alive, at least for the moment. Zandul's quest to destroy Sael and his children remain a mystery to me; he wants them dead because he spawned half-breeds right? Zandul released the Vasuman on the villagers...isn't Layla amongst those villagers? Anyhoo, I wonder what Van was going to tell John before they were interrupted. Her mother's at Corbin's place? hmmm very interesting indeed. Btw what happened to Ageyi? I also wonder how Cole will react to Ren's reveal about Adam? This is wonderfully complicated; I can't wait to see how or if everyone join forces at Kelfar, not to mention the look on John and Jason's faces when they finally see their father.

I'm enjoying the story and the relationships ob John/Evangeline and Jason/Ishara. Since the updates are not as frequent, I have to re-read the previous chapter to remember the story's last installment.
Nice touch to re-introduce Evangeline's mother. Perhaps she can shed some light on Patrick's whereabouts!

I miss you, glad to see you and the story back. Bcktolife is so right, how do you come up with these names, I keep a pen and pad next to my computer so I can keep everyone straight. Love your attention to details not only in the characters but also in their surroundings. I would love to see this on TV. OK i am finish.

One more thing...where or how do you come up with names like Hirhem, Thernom, Valveron, Rhyeal, Enexhi, Ageyi, Enexhi, Vasuman, etc, etc? I'm like, 'ok, how the hell do you pronounce this'? (lol) Not to mention effectively describing the features of your cast of 'characters'. It's mind-boggling.
Author's Response: Haha...good question. I have an obssession with names and their meanings. Some are actual names for from one culture or another, others are a mixture and some I just pull out of thin air. Vasuman is a Hindu names. It means "Born of Fire". Glad the names catch your attention.
