Girl you're on fire aren't you? Three stories updated in a span of a week is almost unheard of. I'm so glad you're writing again and I absolutely loved this chapter but I have one complaint: the chapter ended way too soon. I can't wait to see their convo during lunch.
Since you're on fire, can I expect an update....let's say ummm.....tomorrow? LOL
Author's Response: Hey Bradley, Can't say what's got me going more: REG /Evangeline being disrespected or finally the end of Dena. Either way, the outcome is more inspiration to write.
I ended before the convo because originally my head said Van was supposed to say "no" to lunch. But somehow the character took matters into her own hands & had my fingers type her as going with him! Or maybe John took over the typing. Don't know how it happened, LOL, so I had to pause, regroup & get thoughts, characters & fingers back in synch! Clearly they've decided they want to find their way back to each other sooner rather then later so I need to get with their program & go along for the ride!

I'm conflicted b/c as a woman Blair as a right to be hurt but as a fan of J/E..I'm glad she ended things for John doesn't love her and I guess she over time had those type of feelings for Johnny Mac. Now that we know that Evangeline has been thinking about John and vice verse...I can't wait to see where these two will go from here. I hope towards each other...Thanks for the update!

Yay! Blair is smarter than I thought! She's got moxie, I'll give her that! She's almost admirable in this story. She knows what her relationship with John was and what it wasn't. Finally. Now John can really focus in what he really wants. Evangeline has been thinking about you too, Johnny boy! How can she not?! Memories are so vivid..hahah..Bring it on, D!! =)
Author's Response: See, clearly you weren't watching back in the day when Blair used her brains, wit and cunning every day and had serious spirit & backbone. That's why I'm so furious over what the writers have done to my girl over the years. She's always known it's all JoVan love in the end. But you know, a woman can have fun in between times!

OMG, they both have it bad! Van's daydreaming on what once was between her and her ex-lover not her dead husband. However, John's worse - wanting to ask his 'girlfriend' how to get in good with the woman he's in love with. Now he's going to swing by her place just to catch a glimpse of her and dream? These two are insufferable yet so darn cute.

That's what I hoped a relationship between John and Blair would be---friends with benefits but also real caring, no holds barred honesty and a return to the real them as individuals.

Author's Response: Oh no, Jax is definitely the daddy of little John, named after Jax's deceased dad. Evangeline was true to her marriage vows.

Great chapter!! They certainly did give them something to talk about. LOL! The undercurrents at that table a blind man would have been aware of. John is so in love with her, it's not even funny! It's a bit too soon for Evangeline. It's going to take time, but John and Blair being together does irk her. How can it not? LOL!
Author's Response: Yes, Van is still in a period of mourning but she's not indifferent to John and his doings. John's struggling to keep his feelings all undercover and still be supportive with her.

I love all of your stories...very quick and to the point reading...like that but as I have mentioned before in review of this story...John and Blair...I hope is ending soon. I'm just not feeling them as a pairing and a good reason is that I love John and Evangeline too much that I don't really like to see them with others. But I love how John reconnected with Evangeline here and I love all the little slip ups including him saying that her would move Heaven and hell to be with her...uh...his family.....lol. John needs to drop Blair witch and get back to healing then wooing Evangeline. Great chapter!

Baby John came along after they had been married for some time and Van hadn't seen John in years until she came back to Llanview just now. Evangeline would never cheat on her hubby. Boyfriend RJ, alas, yes, husband, no.
