I noticed that Beautiful Storm posted a question in the chat box about Italic text.
It's very, VERY easy.
When you want to make italic text for something like a flashback, caption, or telepathic speech, which we all do pretty frequently here, italics work well. To make text italic, use the greater than/less than symbols found when you use Shift on your keyboard, and then type a comma or a period.
Greater than - Shift+comma (,)
Less than - Shift+period (.)
The italic HTML tag is <i>. Type this BEFORE whatever text you want to be italic.
The end tag is </i>. Type this AFTER the text to end that formatting and go back to normal font.
Example:
You want to have Ororo communicating with Jean telepathically.
Jean, Ororo cried out to her, searching for her psychic presence, answer me!
That's all normal font.
<i>Jean,</i> Ororo cried out to her, searching for her psychic presence, <i>answer me!</i>
That will format those words in italic. If you forget to close the tags using the set with the slash in it, i.e., the end tag, the italics won't turn off, and your whole body of text will end up formatted that way.
This is the finished result:
Jean, Ororo cried out to her, searching for her psychic presence,
answer me!P.S. - bold tags are the same, but you use <b></b> instead.
