Hey Pari,

Been working on the computer today and saw the posting for this as well. Just too shocked to say anything, just...numb. My humble opinion only, but sooooo not the right actor to portray Gambit. I almost left a comment as to such on the sight, but as I said I was speechless. So grateful to the Realm and the imagination we are free to portray of the characters that we have no other control over. Thank you. Still numb, better that than the plethora of emotion I would otherwise be feeling.

I'm a little late to the party on this one, but I agree. I don't think he is the right choice for Gambit. But hopefully he surprises all of us. Fox has made a mess of the X-men movies, and I was excited to see the reset button hit in DOFP, I just hope they don't start screwing up stuff again. :/

Hi guys, It's been some time now so no longer numb. Here's the thing, I don't think he's a bad actor, just sooooo not Gambit by any stretch of the imagination. The gambit I know is his polar opposite. Where's the height, the hair,the smoldering sex appeal, the overwhelming charm, the lean muscularly fit body and overall confident masculinity? No offense to anyone who adores him, he's just not my, padnats brother. It's hard to believe within the vast selection of SAG actors he was the one that fit the bill for my favorite Cajun. As Pari said, oh no.

Just not feeling it. There are a ton of better actors that could have played Gambit better than him. Channing's cute, but I haven't seen him in anything yet that I've enjoyed, and I tried to watch - and failed - five minutes of Magic Mike. Didn't do it for me at all.
