Corsair is on the run from Shi'Ar authorities, who demand that Cyclops turn him over to them. It later comes to light that the Shi'Ar police officers are corrupt and are attempting to kill a witness under Corsair's protection. The X-Men defeat the corrupt Shi'Ar officers. Cyclops invites Corsair to stay for a while, hoping to clear things up, and Corsair accepts.
