Charles, Storm, Cyclops, & Jean Grey track him down, and it turns out that he suffers from multiple personality disorder, and that his dominant malicious personality, called Lucas, is overwhelming him. Meanwhile, Kitty and Kurt have some misadventures while they're ill. Irony: Lucas says that Jean cannot break out of a mountain although the phoenix force of hers can do anything.
