James McAvoy to star in 'X-Men: First Class'

Patrick Stewart has a presence. Not sure who of the younger set could play Charles Xavier.

The dude from Wanted is going to play Charles Xavier? What are the first Class X-men going to be toddlers?

That's just...weird.

With as many older, forty or fifty something actors in Hollywood who would probably love the work, they didn't need to pick an up and comer to play that character. Shoot, Hugh Jackman's hot, but he's starting to look his age. HE'D be more convincing as Prof than James McEvoy.

I don't have high hopes for this movie. At least that way, I won't be disappointed. Let's see if they post two more physically compatible people with more chemistry between them to play Scott and Jean.

Hmmmmm, gotta say I can't see it either....

I know, really. They would have top be like preschoolers or something.
Of course I'm going to see the movie when it comes out. I have to because it's X Men but I don't have a good feeling about this one.
