X-Men Anime Season 1 (A Spoiler zone...if you don't want spoilers don't read the threads here!!)

THANK YOU!!! I thought it was just me. I'm like why is she an X-man, when all she does is whine and/or get scared. They could have brought in Shadowkat or even Jubes.

I love that Storm is the only woman in the creds, no Jean and no Emma, although Emma isn't bothering me as much as I thought she would :)

One annoyance I have noticed with Wolvie, is the front of his hair....those two pieces of hair, which is a Japanese trademark when drawing anime. But wtf for, I mean why do they do that, and why do it to Wolvie

Other than 'that' I love how they've drawn these characters, and the overall animation. They've done way better than we ever have with an X-Men cartoon.

I really dislike their adaptation of Hisako :( She's got a really different attitude in the comics, much tougher and sarcastic, plus an amusing dynamic with Wolvie - she's sort of like a successor to Kitty and Jubes. She's very JossWhedon-esque in terms of personaliy (considering he's the one who introduced her character into the X-Men). The anime makes her incredibly whiny! D:

I don't like Emma much, though. Part of her character is to be a supreme bitch, even if she's one of the good guys. She's way too nice in the anime, haha.

But - I really like the animation! Apart from her eye color (which should be blue dang it), I like Storm's overall look. And Scott is your basic emo prince bishounen, which I can live with. And Wolverine looks much better in this than he did in his own anime.

O-M-G...YES!!! I don't know what the frack they were thinking with that anime, unless they were writing him with an eating disorder because UGH that depiction was horrible.

I didn't realize this anime was based on comics.
But yes, Hisako is whiny as hell in the anime. Does she ever get an X-man name?

Maybe the fact that Emma is "nicer" in the anime makes her tolerable to me because usually I dislike her.

LOL yeah those "antennae" pieces of hair for Wolvie. Very anime!

But other than a few minor quibbles, I do like the animation. The styles fit the characters.
For example, they drew Storm sexy but not in your face with it. For Emma, she's also sexy but much more overt about it. It just fits their personalities better.
And YES! much better animation than that Wolvie anime. He looked too tall and thin and slick. So NOT him.

I don't think I like Emma as a person, but I love her as a character, if that makes sense. I would hate to know someone like her in real life, but reading about someone as a fierce as the White Queen is entertaining. The anime version just lacks the attitude that I love, so she doesn't really strike me as very Emma-like. :|a

Yeah, I don't like Wolvies hair either. But, I grudgingly admit that they make Storm look good with short hair.

Betrayal... just started it... Storm is sitting closer to Logan and gives him a concerned look.

Not too sure what to think of Emma, but I think I like her a little better with attitude. They make her seem like Storm from the way she cares for Hisako. Not that I don't mind her caring for kids.

Hey, Storm has brown eyes in the movies. Truth be told, I like her with brown eyes. Doesn't she also have brown eyes in the ultimate comics?

Does anyone know if Sabretooth will come into the series? I would love to see that happen.

If they take those antenna pieces off his hair would be good, they did a fantastic job with drawing the characters in this cartoon/anime. I love it!!
