I don't remember if they ever really said it in the Japanese version, but she definitely has one in the English version, and Storm even calls her by it in the English version.

She's got a really different attitude in the comics, much tougher and sarcastic, plus an amusing dynamic with Wolvie - she's sort of like a successor to Kitty and Jubes. She's very JossWhedon-esque in terms of personaliy (considering he's the one who introduced her character into the X-Men). The anime makes her incredibly whiny! D:
I guess it depends on the voice actor. I've been watching the anime in English... Definitely sarcastic and not as whiny as we depicted her in the Japanese version. Storm totally has a lot of attitude in the English version,
I love her comebacks to Wolverine.
