Crossover Idea - X-Men and Hellboy

When I first saw this topic I thought it would be fun to see what sorts of ideas people came up with. After a few days, my brain popped up with this crossover idea.
Some of the fun stuff that could be explored in this fic:

- The interactions between Wolverine and Hellboy of course. They are both alpha males. I can see the posturing and wisecracks now.
- I think Beast and Abe would get along. They are very similar. I can see them becoming great friends.
- Hellboy and Liz could show Wolverine and Storm how a superhero couple could work.
- There could be some contrast/comparison with Charles Xavier and Professor Broom as father figures (missing father figures depending where in the timeline you place this story).
- Liz's powers are also tied into her emotions but she's not as shut down as Storm can sometimes be. Maybe she can show Storm how to be more open. Actually, in the movies, it's never clear how Liz gets her powers (was it ever clear in the comics?). Maybe she IS a mutant and there can be the tie-in.
- And of course there has to be some sort of kitten scene! :)
