Anyone here familiar with current comics canon? (Is this thread still alive, even?)

You guys, I need fic based on this particular page:

Note: Storm is married to the Panther at this point. Logan's new girlfriend isn't his girlfriend here, yet (he keeps denying that there's a girl) But don't you love how they continue to keep in touch like this? I think this is before their mini-argument in Second Coming (post-Kurt)

Can we get some inner monologues about both of their thoughts on the issue?
- Does Logan's new girl remind him of Ororo?
- Is Ororo jealous, or in denial of any lingering feelings she might have for Logan? Or perhaps she is completely aware of those slight, lingering feelings... Ooh.
- How does Yukio (bless her heart, we need more Yukio in current comics canon damn it) factor in? (I kind of love the idea of Storm knowing exactly how Yukio is in bed (ifyouknowwhatImean) and for a moment not comprehending why Logan of all people would turn down a night with Yukio... and then making the connection of Logan having a new gf, haha.)

As much as I need happy endings like I need air, this should probably be fifty flavors of bittersweet, and then some. I would write it if I knew how to do angst, but fluff is all I'm good for. :c

What comic is this? OMG, I haven't been on in forever, I have so much updating to do, it ain't funny.

Are you talkin' about his hispanic girlfriend? Or is there a more recent one that I havent' seen cuz I've been forever back logged on my comic issues?

Yeah, his hispanic reporter girlfriend. I don't actually know much about her other than they're still dating? Also, it's mean but I'm waiting for something fatal to happen to her, um. Isn't scientifically proven that 10 out of 10 women Logan loves die a horrible death or something...

Okay, so now that we have the girlfriend figured out - are you asking someone to write the story you outlined above or is there one written that you're looking for?

And yes, the statistics aren't on her side. lolol

Uh Storm ain't dead, and he had feelings for her. Better make that 99.9% of woman Storm's the one that got away. Also, someone tell me where to find these comics? I'm so far behind it ain't funny.

Yep he does have feelings for her, but he keeps them under wraps. So I guess we can say that's proof that he reeeeally loves her since he won't let anyone know it and in that way keep her safe.

And she didn't get away, well, not for good... she's back. I know she's fighting with the XMen against the Avengers in San Francisco and I'm sure we'll be seeing her come home for good. Which is where she should've been all along.

I'm writing a short piece about her return... yes I'll post it here if and when we're able.

Me? Personally... I think he didn't sleep with Yukio because he's too preoccupied thinking of Ororo off in Wakanda with "he whose name won't be spoken in this post".

No, I don't think Melita (?) reminds him of Storm. No one could ever equal Storm. I think Logan's going through the motions, continuing to date, see other people, etc because Ororo's out of reach. They keep in touch because it's obvious they cannot stay away from each other.

But since she's divorced now... *cheers and pops the champagne cork cuz he knew it was only a matter of time*...... she's comin' home. So let the RoLo fanfic revive.

And may this realm forever live until it finally happens, and then we all compete for what will happen. :P *grabs a glass and pours champagne* Don't care that I'm underage at the moment, I'm just too happy!
