Brilliant story! I LOVED everything about it, from the beginning talk to the exploration of John's demons, to his finally saying ILY to Van. You made me cry because this was so beautiful. JoVan love is a wonderful thing to behold!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review and I'm glad you liked it. I was taking a long break from writing and JoVan in general, but I'm ready to finish Elswehere. I started it, but didn't finish it. Anyway, I hope you read that too. |

This is by far the most comprehensive, ingeniously written and thought provoking canon story preserved on this archive or any where else for that matter. The only negative aspect regarding your work is that this manuscript wasn’t presented to Michael, Renee and Hillary to breathe life into realistic dialogue that Dena could never "ever" fathom. And for this reason alone, I express my opinion of fact that it’s a damn shame – a damn shame – your voice has gone unheard to the masses who have suffered through twenty plus months of ridiculous storylines forever tainting what was once beautiful: Jovan.
Author's Response: Thank you so much. You have no idea what your words mean to an inspiring writer. I look at any fanfic as a way to imporve writing skills, but when it comes to JoVan, I really believe these characters were handled with the most apathetic actions one could have as a writer and a producer of daytime cineman. And it's because of my love of writing and as an avid reader who knows when I"m being sold bs, I will spend a yera on a two chapter story if necessary, just to get it right. OLTL did have sometehing special and no matter what their reasoning was for letting JoVan go (although I've pretty much drew my own conclusions nonwithstanding), they made a big mistake and almost three years later, they are paying for it, tenfold. |
