Make Me Forget
John and I have been apart for 5 months and everytime I see him my
heart breaks all
over again.
Today was no exception.I was walking toward my car in the parking
garage at the
police station and we literally bumped into each other.
"Oh,excuse me."I said looking up shocked to see John's piercing blue
eyes.The eyes
that have always had a very heated affect on me.
"No,I wasn't watching where I was going.Are you
alright,Evangeline."he asked looking
me up and down.
"I'm fine.Thank you John."I said trying to move around him.
"Evangeline can we go someplace and talk for a while.I really miss
our talks."John
said hopeful.
Their eyes locked and before she knew what was happening she
said."Sure John.
Let's take my car and go to the park."
They climbed in the front seat and started to fasten their seatbelts
when John stopped
her and said."I miss you so much,Evangeline.I screwed up so bad with
us and all because
I was scared of what I felt for you."
She looked at him and said."John,don't do this.I can't do this again."
John took her hand and said."Evangeline,let me ask you one question
and depending
on your answer I may let the subject go for good."
"What is it,John?"she asked
"Do you miss me?"he asked."Now you have to answer honestly."
"Yes,but nothing has changed and besides you with another woman now."
He reached out,caressed her face and she melted into his hand.
"John so much has happened.We can't go back to where we were before."
He leaned in and kissed her softly."I know,but why can't we start
over?"
"John it's too late."she said as he moved closer to her.
"If the feelings are there it's never too late,Evangeline."
"John there's too much pain.We need to stop this before it goes any
further."
"Evangeline,remember that night in Mary's basement.Did you want to
stop?"
"No,but that was a long time ago and we weren't thinking straight."
"If you want to know the truth Evangeline.My thoughts have never been
as clear as
they were that night.I wanted you then and I want you now."
She almost told him to stop and get out of the car.Then she realized
that she didn't
want him to stop.She wanted him to make her forget.Forget
everything,all the pain
and heartache of the last 5 months.
"John,will you make me forget."she said unfastening her seatbelt.
"What do you mean,make you forget?"he said confused.
She climbed out of the car and got in the back seat.
She winked at him and said."What I'm saying is.We have been through
so much
heartache the last few months that I just want to forget everyone and
everything for
a little while.Have you ever had sex in the backseat of a
Mercedes,John?"
He grinned and climbed over the seat."No,I can't say that I have."
"Well get ready for the ride of your life,McBain."she said while
unbuttoning his shirt.
Soon they were lying naked in the backseat and Evangeline looked at
him and said
"I think it's time for Big John to come out and play."
He grinned and said."I think you're right."
A few minutes later Natalie was walking through the garage and
noticed that Evangeline's
car was rocking back and forth.She walked over opened the back door
and screamed.
"John,what the hell are you doing?"
He looked up at her and grinned."Well,Natalie I'm doing something I
haven't done in
months.I'm enjoying sex without having to fake it."
He reached up and pulled the door closed and then said."Where were
we?"
Evangeline laughed and said."I think we were right here."
She pulled his head back down and pushed her tongue as far into his
mouth as she
could get it and pretty soon the car was rocking again.
Evangeline thought to herself.I may regret this later,but for now it
feels good that he can
make me forget.
