Love Laced With Sadness
When I looked in her eyes
and saw the sadness I just
wanted to wrap my arms
around her and tell her that
everything was going to be
ok and that I love her.
In that moment I wanted
to declare my undying
love for her,but she
pushed me away.
When she said she
appreciated my friendship
I wanted to scream."It's
not friendship,it's love.
I love you,Evangeline."
She said she needed to
be alone and I turned
to leave.I started to
turn and saying that
I was always there
if she needs me,but
as usual my mouth
wouldn't work.
Damnit,just once
I wish I could get
the words out.
Don't worry my angel.
One day very soon,
I'm going to take you
in my arms,tell you
everything that's in
my heart and then
never let you go.
I just hope that when
I do it's not to late.
