The Man Reflected Back At Me
There was a time in
my life when I looked
in the mirror that I didn't
recognize or even
like the man I saw.
But now when I look at
the man reflected back
at me I'm starting to see
the real me, Johnny McBain.
There was a time when
I didn't think I was worthy
of anyone's love especially
someone as amazing as
Evangeline, but now I'm
starting to realize that
I am worthy of the love
she has for me and you
want to know something
new.I'm happy.
She's brought the light
back into my life and
it's good.
She's shown me that
the past is the past
and it doesn't belong
in my present or future.
So now thanks to her
I can look in the mirror
and be proud of the
man reflected back
at me.
