John walked into his new apartment after a long day at the station.
He went to the kitchen to get a beer then he turned on
the stereo before collapsing on the couch.
He sat his beer down on the coffee table and sat back
laying his head on the back of the couch.

As the song played he closed his eyes and saw Evangeline smiling back at him.
She looked so beautiful that he just wanted to touch her.
He reached for her and she disappeared.
"I'm over here."he heard her say.
He turned around and she was standing in the doorway to his bedroom.
"Come to me John."she said
He walked over to her and when he tried to touch her
again she vanished.
"Where are you Evangeline?"he said
"I'm here John.Come to me."
He looked around and couldn't see her.
"I can't find you.Tell me where you are."John yelled
"I'm behind you."
John turned around and found Evangeline in the arms of Cristian Vega.
"She's mine now McBain.You screwed up big time."Cristian said with a smirk.
"Nooooooo."John screamed
Suddenly John shot up and said."Evangeline."
He looked around and he was alone.
He stood up and said."No way in hell am I going to let
Vega get his hands on the woman I love.I kill him
first."
He turned off the stereo sallowed the last of his beer and went get his beautiful Evangeline back.
