We Are So Not Over
John knocked on Evangeline's door and when she opened it he pulled her into a passionate kiss while backing her into the room and closing the door with his foot.
When she pulled back she said."What the hell was
that?"
John smiled and said."I just wanted to prove two things
to myself.One that you are not in love with Cris like
you claim to be and two that you are still as in love
with me as I am with you.I felt it from the second
you walked into my office and when you hugged me
I knew that the only way I will ever be completely
happy is by getting you back."
Evangeline looked at him shocked and said."Did you
just say you love me?"
John smiled that oh so sexy smile of his and said."Yes.I've love you for so long but I never had the nerve to say it.I never thought I was good enough for you."
Evangeline softened at his words and said."John why
can't you see how good a person you are and how
lucky a woman would be to have you love them?"
John laughed and said."If I'm such a good person then
why did I let the best thing that has ever happened to
me get away?If I'm so lucky why is it that the only
woman I want to be with claims she's falling in love
with another man?"
"John please don't do this."Evangeline said
John took her face in his hands and said."Give me
one good reason why I shouldn't.You told me to
be happy if I can.Well the only way for me to be
happy is to be with you.You are the first and as far
as I'm concerned only woman since Caitlin who has
made me truely happy."then he pulled her into another
kiss.
Evangeline wrapped her arms around John's neck and
melted into his strong body.A body that she had missed so much.A body that she never wanted to let go of.
John pulled back looked into her eyes and saw the
love that he knew she still had for him.
Evangeline smiled and said."You say you love me.
Well prove it."
Then she leaned in and kissed him while unbuttoning
his shirt.
John stopped her and said."I don't want this to be
about sex.We were never about sex.I want to be
able to show you that I love you in all the ways I
didn't show you before."
Evangeline smiled and said."John you always showed
me that you loved me.I just wanted to hear the words
so bad that I just never paid attention to all of the
ways you proved your love to me."
John smiled and said."I was telling the truth when I
said you made me a better man.I want to be that
man again only better than I was before.Can you
give me that chance?"
"Yes John as long as I know there's a chance for us
I'll stick with you forever and this time I mean that."
Evangeline said kissing him.
"There's more than a chance."John said.
"Good."Evangeline said pulling him back into her arms.And this time she was never going to let go.
