Love Never Dies
A few days after John was presumed dead Evangeline
burst into Bo's office and said."Bo John's not dead."
Bo stood up and said."What are you sure?I mean have
you heard from him?"
"No but my gut is telling me that he's not dead and he
needs our help."Evangeline said
Bo looked at her with sadness and said."Evangeline
you're just in shock.There is no way that John could
have survived when his car went over that embankment."
"Bo, John always told me that most of the time he did
his job on gut instinct.Now my gut is telling me that
John is still alive and need us.Are you going to help
me or not?"
"Evangeline I'm an old fashion cop.I can't go on your
gut instinct.If you can give me solid proof that John is
still alive I'll help you but until then you're on your own."
Evangeline blew out a heated breath and said."Fine I'll
find him myself.I love him and I won't give up on him."
Then she turned around and stormed out.
When she left the station she headed for the two people she knew would help her, Michael and Eve McBain.
About twenty minutes after leaving the station Evangeline pulled into the driveway of Michael and Marcie's new house.
After the Angel Square hotel burned down killing Cristian and Natalie, Michael and Marcie moved into a beautiful three bedroom ranch.Eve moved back to Llanview not long after that and was living with them.
She rang the doorbell and Marcie opened it with a
smile."Hi Evangeline.Come on in."
Evangeline walked in and heard the baby crying.
"I'm sorry make yourself comfortable.I'll be back in
just a minute.Coming Tommy."Marcie said heading
to Tommy's room.
Evangeline sat down on the sofa and a minute later
Marcie came back with Tommy and Eve.
Eve sat down next to her and said."Hello Evangeline.
How are you?"
"I'm fine Eve.How are you?"Evangeline said
"I'd be feeling a lot better if people would believe me
when I tell them that I know in my heart that John
is not dead."Eve said frustrated.
Evangeline smiled and said."I believe you because if
John were dead I would feel it."
"I know when I was sitting in the hospital after Thomas
was shot I felt it the instant he died.But when they
said that John was dead I didn't feel it.He's still alive
and he needs us."
Evangeline smiled and said."Good what you say you
and I get Michael and we go find him."
"No, Michael thinks I'm just in denial.If we are going to
go find John we're on our own."
Meanwhile in a cabin outside of AC...
"Dr.Ford thanks for coming.I found him two days ago
on the side of the mountain.He's been in and out of
consciousness.He's been spiking a fever and he keeps mumbling a name.
"Evangeline."John said.
"Did you find any identification?"Dr.Ford asked
"No."Bradley said
Dr.Ford spent the next few minutes examining him
and then said."We need to get him to the hospital.
Can you help me get him to my car?"
Bradley looked at John and said."I don't think we
can lift him alone but I have a wheelbarrow outside
maybe we can put him in that."
"That will work fine."Dr.Ford said
Bradley went to get the wheelbarrow and they got him
to the car and took him to the hospital.
Back at Michael and Marcie's...
Eve came into the living room and said."I'm all packed.
Let's go find my son."
"Eve maybe you should wait for Michael to come home."Marcie said
Eve smiled and said."No Marcie.Michael will just try
to talk us out of it.He doesn't believe me.I have to
go find John.Please don't worry.Tell Michael that I
will be back as soon as I can and I will have John with
me."
She kissed Marcie and Tommy and she and Evangeline left to go find John.
An hour later Michael came home and said."Hey where's mom?"
Marcie hesitated and then said."She left."
Michael looked at her confused and said."What do you
mean she left?"
"Well Evangeline came over and told Eve that she has
a feeling that John is still alive and needs help.So they
left to go find him."Marcie answered.
"What?How could you just let her leave like that.This
is crazy.John is dead and they are both in denial and
will end up getting themselves hurt."Michael said as
he started to pace.
"I'm sorry Michael.I tried to get them to wait until you
got home but they were determined and your mom
said you would just talk them out of it."
Michael stopped pacing put his arms around Marcie
and said."It's ok honey.It's not your fault.Mom is very
stubborn and when she gets an idea in her head there
is no talking her out of it and if John is alive I have no
doubt that if anyone can find him it's mom and E."
Meanwhile Atlantic City Memorial Hospital
Dr.Ford came out of John's hospital room and said
to Bradley."Well we've got him stable and his fever
has gone down.Now all we have to do is wait for him
to wake up and then hopefully we can find out who
he is."
"Doctor the patient is coming too."the nurse said coming out of the room.
Bradley and Dr.Ford walked back into the room."Hello
son my name is Dr.Ford.Can you tell us your name.
John looked at them and said."My name is....."
