I Wonder If
I wonder if that man with
the devilish blue eyes
knows that I still think
about him everyday.
I wonder if that woman
with the hypnotic brown
eyes knows that I still
fall asleep at night and
see her face.
I wonder if he knows that
just hearing his voice makes
my spine tingle and my toes
curl.
I wonder if she knows that I
have a cd in my car of her
singing that I listen to all
the time because her voice
is the only thing in this world
that calms me.
I wonder if he knows that I
still love him and if he were
to come to me right now and
ask me to take him back I
would jump into his arms and
never let him go again.
My thoughts are interrupted by
a knock on the door.
When I open it he's standing
there and he says."I wonder
if you know that I love you."
I wonder if the world knows
just how wonderful life can
be when you have your
soulmate by your side.
